Protecting our users' privacy is not a new issue to GroundTruth. We’ve been audited annually by TRUSTe for years, receiving their TRUSTed Data Collection Certification in the US and their independent certification under the EDAA framework in the EU. GroundTruth adheres to the DAA Principles and were a launch partner for their AppChoices program. We work closely with the top laws firm for privacy in the US. GroundTruth is also a strategic partner with the Mobile Marketing Association, setting end enforcing privacy and data usage polices for marketing. And we won’t rest on our laurels – privacy is not a box to check and forget about. As our products continue to develop and advance, so will our compliance efforts.
As part of ongoing efforts to better protect the privacy of end users on our platform, our legal team in conjunction with the Privacy task force is now blocking the data collection (audience building) and targeting (Blueprints) of the following categories. This is enforced at the platform level, which means the data will never be collected and is not available for use by any campaign or offline partner study.
