Step-by-Step Banner Setup (Photoshop)

Follow these design steps to build high-converting display assets using our PSD template:

  1. Add Background: Select or paste a background color, solid texture, or image.

Best Practice: If available, showcase a high-quality, real-life product image as your main hero visual.
  2. Insert Logo: Place your brand mark in a prominent position.

Best Practice: Ensure the logo is scaled sufficiently for immediate brand recognition on small mobile screens.
  3. Add Ad Copy: Input your headline or main messaging.

Best Practice: Keep copy under 5 words max. If highlighting a promotional offer or discount, emphasize it using bold fonts, larger point sizes, or contrasting accent colors.
  4. Insert CTA Button: Customize your call-to-action button color and text (e.g., Learn More, Shop Now, Find a Store). Ensure strong color contrast against the background so it stands out as clickable.
  5. Leave Space for Dynamic Distance (Optional): If you plan to enable the Dynamic Text Overlay feature inside Ads Manager to show real-time proximity to a storefront, ensure you reserve clear, un-cluttered visual space at the bottom or top of your layout.
  6. Export Final Assets: Select your target artboard size (300x250, 320x50, 320x480, or 728x90), right-click the artboard layer, select Export As, and save the banner file as a JPG or PNG (under 150 KB).

Building Assets in Other Design Tools

If you are using alternative design software instead of Photoshop (e.g., Canva, Illustrator, Figma), configure your project workspace using these core canvas settings:

  1. Create New File: Set your exact pixel dimensions (Width × Height) to one of our standard sizes:
    • 300 x 250 (Mobile Medium Rectangle)
    • 320 x 50 (Mobile Leaderboard)
    • 320 x 480 (Mobile Interstitial)
    • 728 x 90 (Tablet / Desktop Leaderboard)
  2. Set Resolution: Configure color space to RGB and pixel density to 72 ppi (or 1x standard export).
  3. Apply Design Rules: Follow steps 1 through 5 from the setup list above.
  4. Export File: Save each asset file individually in JPG or PNG format. Ensure final file sizes remain under the platform maximum of 150 KB.
