Reporting Overview

A smarter, clearer performance overview is here. GroundTruth Ads Manager’s Reporting Overview page gives you immediate clarity on how your campaigns and ad groups are performing. Easily toggle key metrics across custom or flight timelines and explore deep visual insights across Delivery, Engagement, Site Activity, Business Outcomes, and top-performing locations.

Accessing the Reporting Overview

You can access the Reporting Overview page at any time while viewing a campaign or ad group by clicking the Home icon tab located immediately to the left of the Summary tab.

💡 Note: The Reporting Overview (Home icon) and Summary tabs are two distinct reporting tools designed for different needs. Use Overview for visual trend analysis and Summary for raw tabular data export.

Controls, Default Settings & Metric Breakdown

Customize your view using the global controls at the top of the dashboard:

  • Default Timeline: When you open the overview, the date filter automatically defaults to your campaign’s start date through today.
  • Level Selector: Toggle your view between the overall Campaign level or individual Ad Groups. Note: You can view one ad group at a time.
  • Foot Traffic Visitation Reporting: To give a complete picture of offline attribution, foot-traffic visits are automatically tracked and displayed for up to 21 days post-campaign end date without requiring any manual date adjustments.

Interactive Performance Metrics

The Reporting Overview page consolidates your performance into structured, digestible cards featuring interactive toggle switches.

  • Switching a metric's toggle ON instantly renders its corresponding colored trend line on the visual chart immediately below that section.
  • You can enable as many metric toggles simultaneously as you like with no limit.
💡 Note: The platform automatically hides any metric section that is not actively tracked for your campaign type or contains zero data (e.g., if store visits are not tracked, the Business Outcomes section will not display).

Visual Breakdowns & Deep Insights

Below the metric charts, the page provides interactive breakdowns to analyze targeting efficiency, channels, and top offline locations:

  • Audience & Targeting Visualizations: Dynamic graphical breakdowns for your audience segments and location targeting rules. Use the top-right section tabs to toggle the visual data by Delivery, Clicks, or Visitation.
  • Top 5 Visited Locations: Highlighting the top physical store or point-of-interest locations generating the highest volume of real-world visits.
  • Channels Breakdown: Displays publisher and network performance depending on your targeted channel (e.g., CTV campaigns will show Top Publishers).

Exporting Overview Reports (PDF)

When you export a PDF of the Reporting Overview page, the exported document reflects your exact screen layout at the time of download:

  • UI Capture: The export captures the exact state of your UI, including enabled/disabled metric toggles, selected date ranges, and rendered visual graph lines.
  • Toggle State: If a metric line toggle is switched off on your screen, the exported PDF will show the toggle in the "off" position and omit that line from the PDF graph.
💡 Tip: Before exporting your PDF report for clients or stakeholders, toggle ON only the key metrics you want to highlight (e.g., Impressions vs. Visits) to export a clean, presentation-ready line graph.
