Image Banners

Ads Manager allows for 3 types of format for images:

  • JPG, PNG, GIF

Dimensions

  • 320x50, 300x250, 320x480, 728x90, 600x300, 720x240, 640x213, 640x160, 640x320, 300x50, 480x320, 768x1024, 1024x768, 640x960, 640x360 and 160x600.
    • Dimensions in bold make up 95% of our inventory
    • For retina display: double dimensions - e.g. 320x50 -> 640x100
  • A preview of the uploaded ad will display once successfully uploaded.
  • We recommend using all 4 main dimensions to facilitate campaign delivery.
  • GIF Animation Minimize the number of frames to meet the file size limitations.
  • Retina display banners are not recommended to ensure proper ad serving.
 

Dynamic Distance

Once an image has been added, the Dynamic Text Overlay option will appear. Distance overlay is a dynamically populated text that indicates how far the user is from the nearest business location. E.g.: “2.22 mi away”, “Nearest location is 2.22 mi away”

Steps:

  1. Click Add Text Overlay button to the lower left of the image preview to open macro options
  2. Click Add Macros link under the text input box to view a list of available macros that will dynamic relevant text based on the location of the user and the advertisers nearest store
    • Distance: %%DISTANCE%% - numerical distance to the nearest business location
    • Distance Unit: %%DISTANCEUNIT%% - the unit of length standard to the market. US & UK miles, KM for all others.
    • Street: %%STREET%% - the street of the nearest business location is located
    • City: %%CITY%% - the city the nearest location is located within
    • State: %%STATE%% - the state the nearest location is located within
    • ZipCode: %%ZIPCODE%% - the zipcode the nearest location is located within
    • Phone Number: %%PHONE%% -
    • Location Group Name: %%BUSINESSNAME%% - 
    • Business Location Name: %%BUSINESS_LOCATION_NAME%% - 
    • Category: %%CATEGORY%% - 
  3. To the right of the text box are font control options such as text size, color, and style
  4. Text entered in the text box will also appear in the ad creative preview
    • Click and drag on the text box overlay in the preview to move the positioning
    • Click and drag on the square corner handles to change the size of the text overlay

Font Options:

  • Character: Arial, Helvetica, Georgia, Times New Roman
  • Weight: regular, bold, italic, bold italic
  • Color: provide hex color code
  • Size: 9 points minimum
 

Click-Through URL

The click-through URL is the location that the viewer is redirected to when clicking on the ad, or on a certain part of the ad. Adding a clickthrough url is required and will allow for measuring CTR (Click-Through-Rate).

  • Be sure to include http:// or https:// in the url path
  • UTM and URL parameters are allowed

Landing Pages | Mobile

GroundTruth Dynamically generated web-based landing pages

  1. The landing page is a mobile site that the user will view after clicking the ad creative. (Script & Video creatives have predetermined landing page preconfigured).
  2. If the client does not have an existing mobile website landing page, they can use one of GroundTruth Landing page templates by selecting the “create landing page options, which replaces the click-thru url with a landing page builder form that allows for the creation of the landing page by populating the templated features/options.
  3. There are two main landing page options:
    • Standard / Super Landing Page - configures header image, directions, which prepopulates based on Drive-to location(s) set in targeting, call to action button, coupon image, video, option to customize buttons.
    • Image Landing Page - Image map customizable with clickable regions
 

Landing Page - Standard / Super

Note: The Super Landing page setup is exactly the same as the Standard Landing page. However, the super landing page is designed to be more symmetrical and broad map view for better user interaction.

Required Assets

    • Image must be static
    • Standard: 375x234 / 50KB max
    • Retina: 750x468 / 100KB max
    • URL to 3rd party website (Image may have 1 CTA)
  2. DIRECTIONS/ CALL- Contact list: XLS / CSV  (See page 3 for details)
  3. ADDITIONAL CTA Continuing to whisk, gradually add the flour mixture into the egg mixture. Whisk until it is a homogeneous mass.
  4. VIDEO URL to YouTube video
  5. PROMO
    • Standard: 375x352 / 80KB max
    • Retina: 750x704 / 140KB max
    • URL to 3rd party website (Image may have 1 CTA)
