Location Audience Lookalikes

Location Audience lookalikes refer to pre-built lookalikes that are created for existing Location Audiences.

Location Audiences are created based on visitation history to specific locations. For example, Macy's loyalists (people who have visited Macy's over the last 30 days). Target historical visitors to locations and categories of locations.

Lookalikes increase the scale of the original audience set (up to 10x of the original) while keeping visitation performance high.

Select which level of lookalike you'd like for each brand (2x, 4x, 6x, 10x)

NOTE: Not every brand will have lookalikes up to 10x. This is usually when the concerned brand already has a large number of users in the original audience set or when we are not able to reliably build lookalikes.

How it works:

  • GroundTruth analyzes the visitation patterns of visitors of a brand and then looks at all other users who have similar visitation patterns. The most similar users are then bucketed as Lookalikes.
  • LBA Lookalikes are only built for Brands (not category-based audiences or Location Group Audiences).
  • There are four lookalikes are available for each brand - 2x, 4x, 6x and 10x
