The Top Networks offering in Ads Manager allows advertisers to run ads on a set bundle of 40+ popular, premium apps with significant U.S. viewership.

While apps may enter or leave the Top Networks ecosystem, the current list includes:

Guardrails
Because the Top Networks CTV offering is highly curated and premium, certain restrictions and recommendations apply:
- No audience, weather, or retargeting-based targeting.
- Geographic targeting to DMA or larger is recommended.
- Demographic targeting is not supported for Top Networks.
- Dayparting targeting is not recommended.
- Ad formats: Both 15-second and 30-second creatives are recommended for increased scale and performance.
- CTV (large screen) only – OTT is not supported.
Setting up a Top Networks CTV Campaign in Ads Manager
Targeting
- Select Target by Location > Geotargets Targeting Tactic.
- Select CTV as the Media Type.
- Add location filters.
- Top Networks is designed for broader geographic targets (DMAs or larger). Zip codes may work in some cases
- Reach out to selfservehelp@groundtruth.com before launching.
- Specify whether tracking online conversions or in-store visits.
- Do not use demographic filters - not supported with Top Networks.
- Under Content Category, select Premium Categories - Top Networks to access the full bundle.
- To build a retargeting segment, select the Build Audience option. Complete retargeting setup using instructions on Retargeting on Ads Manager: Building an audience for remessaging.
Ad Creatives
Use both 15-second and 30-second ad creatives for maximum scale and delivery.
- Format: .mp4
- Resolution: 1920x1080 (1080p)
- Dimensions: 16:9
- File Size: <200 MB
Budget & Schedule
- Bid Price: $35 CPM.
- No budget minimums.
- Dayparting is available but not recommended.
